Overview
An ancient, coral-encrusted rod found in shipwreck depths, radiating faint power to lure rare fish. Every 10 catches, gain a 25% higher chance to pull up a Treasure Map! All fish have a 8% chance to be Sunken.
The Sunken Rod is a Stage 6 fishing rod obtained from Treasure Chests with a 1.6% chance or after opening 50 Treasure Chests as pity. It has excellent all-around stats and unique abilities focused on treasure hunting and the Sunken mutation.
- Treasure Map Specialist: Every 10 successful catches yields a 25% increased chance to pull up a Treasure Map, with a guaranteed map every 230 catches
- Sunken Mutation: 8% chance for caught fish to have the Sunken mutation, which provides a 4.5x sell value multiplier
- Excellent Stats: Very good universal performance with higher base stats than even the Trident Rod in nearly every category
- Control Boost: Its control boost (0.15 or +15%, resulting in a bar 45% of the reeling minigame) helps maintain steady performance
- Pity System: Guaranteed drop after opening 50 Treasure Chests if you haven't received it yet
How to Obtain
The Sunken Rod has a ~1/62.5 (1.6%) chance to be found in Treasure Chests.
The player will be granted the rod after opening 50 Treasure Chests as pity if they haven't received it from the random drop chance.
To obtain Treasure Chests, you need to collect Treasure Maps while fishing and then dig at the marked location using a shovel.

- Lure Speed of 50% means you'll need to shake to attract fish.
- Max Kg of 25,000 limits what fish you can catch.
- This rod has a special ability that can significantly boost your earnings!
- The Control stat affects the size of your reeling bar. Higher control = easier catches!
