Leviathan's Fang Rod

A weaponized rod forged to withstand the wrath of Scylla, carving through its relentless assaults with unyielding force.

The Leviathan's Fang Rod is a specialized Stage 7 fishing rod designed specifically for catching Scylla during Scylla Hunts. While not particularly good for general C$ or XP grinding, it excels when facing the Scylla boss with unique abilities that counter the boss's mechanics.

When catching Scylla, the rod provides a +50% resilience bonus and fills up 4% of initial reeling completion. It also has a 25% chance per fish movement to stab for +3% progress, similar to the Trident Rod and No-Life Rod. Most importantly, it bypasses Scylla's Progress Speed lock, making it one of the few rods capable of this feat.

The rod's control results in a bar width of 40% during the reeling minigame (base 30% + 10% bonus). Due to its low resilience (10%) and control (0.1) outside of Scylla encounters, this rod is not recommended for general fishing purposes.
