The Friendly Rod is a Stage 4 rod obtained from Friend Quest spins at a 1% chance. It is not recommended for grinding or any serious fishing use unless the player obtains it incredibly early on from a Friend Quest as it is very easily outclassed by other money-focused rods in almost any stage of the game.
It is instead recommended to use this rod for its ability to catch Friend Fish, if the player wishes to collect them for novelty or trade value, or simply for the sake of having them as this rod is the only way to catch them.
- Control: The Friendly Rod has 0.05 control (+5%), resulting in a bar 35% of the reeling minigame
- Unique Feature: Only rod that can catch Friend Fish
How to Obtain
The Friendly Rod can be obtained from Friend Quests at Moosewood with a 1% chance to be obtained from a Friend Quest spin.
Requirements:
- Must have a friend from the player's friend list or a verified user in the same server to catch Friend Fish

- Lure Speed of 85% means you'll need to shake to attract fish.
- Max Kg of Infinity limits what fish you can catch.
- This rod has a special ability that can significantly boost your earnings!
- The Control stat affects the size of your reeling bar. Higher control = easier catches!
