The Elder Mossripper is a craftable end-game Stage 9 fishing rod unlocked at Level 350. It features exceptional all-around stats, with 90% Lure Speed, 215% Luck, 50% Resilience, and 0.2 Control. Its infinite weight capacity allows it to handle any fish in the game.

The most notable feature of this rod is its Mossjaw ability, which activates every 2 minutes and guarantees a Mossy mutation catch. When activated, a Mossjaw creature appears in the water, granting an additional high-rarity fish. The passive catch has special rarity chances: 28% Legendary, 24% Mythical, 21% Exotic, 16% Secret, and 11% Apex.

The rod also provides a +45% weight increase to all caught fish, a 20% chance for Shrouded (7x value), a 5% chance for Mossy (8.7x value), and a +30% boost in progress speed.
