With 15% Resilience and 25,000kg max weight capacity, the Crystalized Rod can handle most standard catches in the area. Its standout feature is the 20% chance to apply the Crystalized mutation, which multiplies a fish's value by 3.5x, making it excellent for grinding cash.
The rod's control results in a bar width of 45% during the reeling minigame (base 30% + 15% bonus), providing balanced difficulty for most catches.
Overall, the Crystalized Rod is a fairly good fishing rod targeted to newer players, offering decent mutation chances and well-rounded stats for its price point. It is the only way of obtaining the Crystalized mutation on an Enchant Relic besides the Rod Of The Exalted One.
How to Obtain
The Crystalized Rod can be purchased for 35,000 C$ at Frigid Cavern after completing the Diamond Puzzle.
To free the rod from the ice, two players with Glass Diamonds must stand on their corresponding pressure plates. The puzzle is located fairly close to the top of the summit at Frigid Cavern.
